I have a confession.

I went here, to Sun Studios long enough to get a few postcards, but their tours were full, no Johnny Cash for me. So I went to Stax, and their intro video felt like church. I saw Isaac Hayes’s Gold Cadillac while my partner was at a librarian conference. I didn’t see the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid up close, but went to a brewery where I met some older Midwesterners on a brew-tour, and got on their bus against my better judgement. The tour guide gave me free beer and told me to meet people my age at Wiseacre Brewery. I Ubered back in time to miss the ducks at The Peabody.
