Happy birthday or anniversary or whatever to us!

I (Aaron) was going to maybe publish one of my own stories today, because the site launched with one of my own, and Crow and I have self-published a few stories here and there over the years, which generally feels like in the chaotic fun spirit of it all, but... I don't have any stories right now. And, as I thought about it, it feels more in the spirit of it all to just encourage you all to dig through the archives and/or play a game or twelve of RANDOM! 

It's been a really encouraging, inspiring, fun last five years. So many of you sending us such amazing work, and being so generous and supportive of each other's writing, and (mostly!) being so good-natured about and having such fun with our dumb, stressful, chaotic submission calls is really what's made HAD HAD. 

And, speaking of those submission calls... we're doing one right now! (Well, depending on when you're looking at this. Officially, it's today (Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 8am–1pm ET!)
