She wanted a baby more than anything else on this earth and when she couldn’t have one, she put on her sluttiest dress and went to the dirtiest bar that she knew and drank until she couldn’t stand up straight. Her husband was out with his friends or her husband was having an affair or he was working late. It didn’t matter. It was already too late when the handsome man approached her. It had been a long time since a man had flirted with her in a bar and he was so good looking with those cheekbones and the hair. Her husband was bald and had no visible cheekbones to speak of. They began to kiss and suddenly, she found herself outside being pressed against the brick wall of the building near the dumpster. Everything started to make sense when the handsome man plunged his teeth into her neck and started to drink her dry. When she woke the next evening with her own insatiable thirst for blood and newly grown in fangs, she first killed her husband who was playing video games in the living room. Next, she broke into her neighbor’s house where she found their newborn baby sleeping in a crib. He wasn’t a perfect child, his eyes a little too bulbous and his head slightly lopsided, but as she absconded off into the woods with him, she didn’t care about any of that. All that she cared about was that she had a baby that would last forever.
